Amy has a degree in Visual Communications, Television and Photography from Monroe Community College, where she graduated with honors and recognition in 2010. She has had a passion for photography and visual story telling from a young age, inspired by her father who was a photojournalist during the civil rights movement and beyond. He help develop her unique eye and ability to see the world through the lens of her camera.
Amy has worked for the Monroe Doctrine as a photojournalist and writer who covered anything from political press conferences with Hillary Clinton to professional wrestling. She also enjoyed being an Editorial Editor for the Monroe Doctrine and being assigned the environmental sustainability beat.
Amy has travelled as an International Photojournalist for Restore Haiti (Jacmel, Haiti) numerous times providing them with compelling images to help bring awareness to their work there.
Amy’s photojournalism work in Haiti led to her traveling, several times, to Roca Blanca Medical Mission (Mexico) to provide an inside look into the amazing work being done there as well. Other work includes band photography and events photography for organizations in the local area (YMCA, Rochester inner city outreaches, local churches and Ugandan Water Project 5k to name a few) .
Amy enjoys fine arts and nature photography and has been selected to have her work displayed in various art shows.
Amy enjoys inspiring people to activate their lives to live regret-free and become an Agent Of Change. She is involved in many aspects of our content creation process. In her producer role, she helps find the inspiring people whose stories we tell and identifies key elements of their life journey for us to focus on. She does location scouting, videography and photography as well as participating in cinematography decisions. She also helps oversee Regret-Free Productions social media presence, marketing and fund raising strategies. Clearly she is a very valuable member of our team!
